With the help of generous hair donors, our Centre has been distributing natural-hair wig caps specifically designed for kids who are suffering from hair loss.

Turning Your Hair Into A Wig Cap
If you’re interested in having your hair turned into a wig cap, it’s essential to follow some guidelines:
1. Wash and dry hair. Do Not apply any hair products such as gel, mousse, or hairspray.
2. Braid or secure hair in a ponytail before cutting. Please ensure the hair is tight and secured with a rubber band. Cut the hair above the rubber band.
3. Store your hair in a plastic Ziploc or any plastic bag to keep your hair intact and undamaged.

What do we do with the Hair?
The hair is sewn and tied into a hat that’s specially measured to fit on a child’s head. The hair can then be coloured, cut, permed, and otherwise styled.
